Out of all my family sessions this fall, this was the one I really wanted to blog about, but it was also the one I was most intimidated to blog about. Why? Because my lovely client Renee is a blogger and how could I write about her as well as she writes about herself? I can’t, but I shouldn’t let that stop me. Right?
Besides being an awesome mom, wife and talented blogger, Renee is also an incredibly brave advocate for metastatic breast cancer. Through her candid blog and instagram posts, I have learned SO much about this disease, her challenges and her victories. Her outlook on life is incredible.
You may be asking yourself, what can I do to help? I know I did, and there is something super simple you CAN do to help. Follow her on Instagram. For those of you not caught up on the silly details of the app – there are certain features you can only access if you hit 10,000 followers, features that help you share more content and in Renee’s case share more valuable information and better educate all of us. So go now, and follow her, then come back here and scroll through some adorable photos from our super fun session together at our favourite Toronto park in November.

PS: One more thing (and I realise I’m asking a lot of you in this post blog!) – I’m taking part in a blog circle with some amazing photographers. There’s a group of six of us this month, and next up is Alyssa from Vancouver. She’s an incredible photographer and videographer. I just watched the video she posted and teared up. Now back to Renee and her sweet family….
This is such a beautiful session! And what an inspiring woman your friend is! Thank you for sharing her story.
Thanks so much! She’s really amazing.
